Life with ADHD and PMDD is full of highs and lows.
What if you could flow with it?
that’s what
is all about
If you're navigating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), or both, you don’t have to do it alone.
Coaching provides a safe space for you to focus on what matters most.
Every session is different, but here are some examples of how we might use our time together:
Exploring your unique thought processes
Working with blockers
Understanding what you need to move forward

foundations of Flowing North
These practices guide my coaching approach for managing ADHD and PMDD challenges and, honestly, life in general. They work together, with each practice complementing the others to help you build sustainable habits while honoring your nature and way of moving through the world.
-
Tune your compass
Tuning your compass helps identify your North so you can move forward with intention. With a tuned compass, the path forward becomes clear.
What this could look like
Recognizing your values and natural strengths
Giving yourself permission to want what you want
Clarifying what matters most right now
-
Make kinder choices
“Kinder” acknowledges that “perfect” isn't realistic. Making kinder choices redefines what is “enough” and shows you how far you’ve already come.
What this could look like
Pausing
Acting in alignment with your North
Being gentle with yourself and others
-
Go at your own pace
Every step is important for making progress on a journey. Small, consistent actions lay the groundwork for progress.
What this could look like
Starting where you are
Managing expectations
Celebrating every effort, big or small
-
Flow with the process
Progress isn’t linear. It’s ok to adjust and try again — that’s a natural part of growing. This is an invitation to lean into the journey instead of focusing on the destination.
What this could look like
Trusting yourself
Shifting course when needed
Embracing this path as uniquely yours
about
hi, I’m Teena!
I spent most of my life trying to squeeze myself into the box that society expected me to fit. When that didn’t work, I figured I must belong in some other box labeled Elsewhere. I had a closet full of abandoned projects, a resume full of seemingly random short-term jobs, and an active mind full of brilliant ideas with no idea how to pick which one to focus on.
I was constantly looking for answers by reading, attending workshops and silent meditation retreats, and practicing everyday awareness. Then, after decades of struggling without knowing why, I was diagnosed with PMDD in my mid-30s and ADHD in my early 40s — finally, it all made sense.
Feeling called to help others like me, I studied at an accredited ADHD coaching program. Now I pair this professional training with my personal experience to support others as they navigate their own journeys with ADHD and PMDD.
I spent many years feeling lost and alone, and learning about these conditions and finding the right support taught me to celebrate who I am, exactly as I am. I don’t need fixing.
Instead, I lean into my natural tendencies and build around my unique needs. I can live life at my own pace and stay true to my North, my values.
this is Flowing North
Flowing North represents how we navigate life:
Flowing is about embracing our natural rhythms and moving forward in ways that work for us, whether we're managing ADHD, PMDD, or just trying to get through the day.
North represents our authentic selves and what guides us, like our core values, strengths, and priorities.
After years of trying to “find” it, I eventually figured out my North was quietly guiding me as best it could — while deeply buried under societal and cultural expectations, inherited beliefs that were no longer serving me, and self-doubt. Learning to recognize and honor my North allowed me to live with more ease and intention.
Flowing North is a reminder to prioritize what matters most to us. Some of us already know our direction, while others may feel like we're still looking. Either way, North is always within you.
Whether your North is expansive (advocating for a cause you believe in) or personal (managing daily tasks), I’d be honored to be part of your journey.
I am committed to providing an environment that supports, appreciates, and respects the race, color, culture, religion, spiritual practices, sex, age, socioeconomic status, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, relationship status or configuration, national origin, and physical and mental abilities of all person. I recognize that my understanding of inclusiveness and social justice is an ongoing endeavor that requires continued training, professional development, and action on my part.
services
Whether you thrive on weekly momentum or prefer space between sessions to think about our discussion and implement strategies, we'll find your natural rhythm together. Each session is just you and me, focused on what you bring that day.
I bring both professional training and lived experience to my coaching practice. I’m especially drawn to coaching people around the areas of life where ADHD and PMDD caused friction for me and I found my own way:
Creativity — Addressing creative blocks and balancing inspiration with action
Relationships — Navigating how ADHD and PMDD can affect the people in your life
Home — Evaluating clutter and designing a space that works for your needs
Money — Building awareness around spending and saving habits
Work — Exploring career paths and utilizing your strengths in professional settings
Wellness — Creating sustainable routines for intentional rest, sleep, food, stress management, and movement
Virtual sessions are held via Google Meet in Pacific Time.

FAQ

Coaching and therapy use different approaches to further people's growth and wellbeing.
Therapy focuses on healing and mental health, often involving professional assessment and treatment recommendations.
In coaching, our relationship is a partnership and you are the expert on you. Rather than prescribe solutions, I use reflective inquiry to support you in recognizing what’s true for you or gaining new perspective on your situation. We focus on identifying what's working and what isn't, discussing practical solutions, and creating systems that align with your strengths and way of being.
Both methodologies are valuable and provide their own benefits. In cases where therapy might be more appropriate, I can provide resources to help you get started with finding a mental health professional.
-
People with ADHD and PMDD need approaches that work with their natural rhythms rather than trying to use systems that work for everyone else.
We recognize that some days are harder than others, which is why the foundations of Flowing North are focused on gentle adjustments to foster sustainable change — like writing a book one word at a time.
-
Not at all! If you struggle with any of the same challenges—procrastination, rumination, setting or reaching goals, executive function, and more—you can benefit from this type of coaching.
While I work with ADHD-related challenges, I don't diagnose ADHD or other conditions. That's best handled by qualified healthcare professionals.

A coaching session is a structured conversation with a beginning, middle, and end. The call is centered on you and your needs.
My goal as your coach is to understand what you want out of the session and help us get there. We might discuss why you're stuck on a project or help you find clarity on a decision.
While we often want quick results, some insights and change need time to develop naturally. Everyone's journey is different, so we'll move at a pace that's comfortable for you.
Plus, it can be helpful to have a neutral third-party who is trained and practiced in the art of listening and is completely focused on supporting your journey.

I encourage you to use all resources available to find what works for you!
I will say that with ADHD and PMDD, standard productivity advice sometimes falls short because it doesn't account for how our brains work or how our capacity can fluctuate. Chances are, you know what to do and even how to do it—but maybe some days you can do the thing and other days it feels impossible.
In our coaching together, we’ll talk about strategies and explore what's really getting in your way.
